On March 22, I attended the 51st China Beijing International Gifts, Premium & Houseware Exhibition, commonly known as the Beijing Gift Show. This event, held at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing, is a premier platform showcasing the latest innovations in the gifts and houseware industry.
My primary focus was to explore new creative and eco-friendly products. Given that China's eco-friendly product sector is still in its nascent stages, the exhibition predominantly featured sustainable items in categories such as stationery, bags, and tableware. In the realm of bags, materials like corn husk fiber leather, cork leather, and coffee grounds leather were prominently displayed, reflecting a growing interest in sustainable alternatives.
At the exhibition, I was fortunate to connect with several manufacturers specializing in eco-friendly products. One focuses on small-batch customization of sustainable notebook sets, another offers eco-certified refrigerator magnets and badges, and a third specializes in producing environmentally friendly cups made from cork, coffee grounds, and stainless steel. These connections present promising opportunities to expand our sustainable product offerings.
Overall, the Beijing Gift Show provided valuable insights into the current trends and challenges within China's eco-friendly product market. As the industry matures, it is anticipated that prices will become more competitive, making sustainable products more accessible to a broader audience.
